About René Oudman
René Oudman (1993) is without a doubt the autosport encyclopedia of The Netherlands. An enthusiastic spark plug, blessed with knowledge and writing skills. Despite the young age, he already attended races as a journalist in every major single seater series.
René’s from the North and he is proud of it. Born in Assen, just steps away from the legendary TT Circuit, he grew up in a little village close to the capital city of Drenthe. As an adult, he moved to Groningen – the ‘capital of the north’.
Once there, René swiftly joined the well-known GPUpdate.net editorial staff. Making name for himself on various paddocks, René loves to write about the background story and looking beyond the scoreboard. No matter what – Formula One, Formula E or IndyCar Series – if it has wheels attached to it and goes fast, René reports about it.
