May is just around the corner, so the NTT INDYCAR SERIES is entirely focused on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. First up is the Sonsio Grand Prix on the Road Course of the world-famous track, followed two weeks later by the legendary Indianapolis 500. For that famous 500-mile race, Rinus VeeKay and Juncos Hollinger Racing will receive support from another experienced racing team.
Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has been competing in the Indianapolis 500 nearly every year since 2000. The team won the very first IndyCar race it ever entered, and Oriol Servia’s fourth-place finish in 2012 stands as its best result in the most important IndyCar race of the year. For the 2026 edition, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has announced a technical partnership with Juncos Hollinger Racing, resulting in a joint entry for VeeKay.
VeeKay, the youngest front-row starter in the 109-year history of the Indianapolis 500, will drive the blue #76 JHR DRR Wedbush Chevrolet in the upcoming edition of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. Wedbush, a leading financial services firm, returns as the title sponsor of an Indy 500 entry after making a strong showing last year with Ryan Hunter-Reay.
“We are very pleased to announce our joint entry with Juncos Hollinger Racing, with our long-term partner Wedbush serving as the title sponsor of the #76 Chevrolet. We look forward to the opportunities ahead for Juncos Hollinger Racing, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, and Wedbush,” said Dennis Reinbold.
“The Indianapolis 500 is the biggest stage of the year, where the crowd, attention, and atmosphere come together in a way that only this event can offer,” says Juncos Hollinger Racing team principal Dave O’Neill. “For Wedbush, it’s an opportunity to be part of this unique occasion while gaining significant visibility through one of the most prominent platforms in the sport.”
“Dreyer & Reinbold Racing is a highly experienced team, and I am grateful and motivated to work with them for the upcoming Indianapolis 500,” VeeKay notes. “They performed very strongly last year, and in combination with Juncos Hollinger Racing and Wedbush, I’m convinced they can compete in the lead group again this year. Our joint effort certainly won’t be the limiting factor. The car looks incredibly cool, and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel,” VeeKay concludes with determination.
The 110th edition of the Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 24. The seventh and most important race of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season will start earlier than usual: the green flag will be waved around 4:30 p.m. Dutch time. The race can, of course, be watched live on Ziggo Sport.
