In 2026, Niels Langeveld will take a major step forward in his motorsport career. After two strong seasons in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, the 38-year-old from Sassem will move up to the highly competitive Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. In the tough German championship, Langeveld will line up at the start with his familiar No. 10, supported by his partners, with 360 Talent as his main sponsor.
“After two great seasons in the Benelux, this felt like the right time to take the next step”
Niels Langeveld – Race driver at Laptime Performance
Langeveld is embarking on this new adventure with the experienced Laptime Performance team, a team with extensive Porsche expertise and a strong reputation in motorsports. With a group of highly skilled specialists, this forms a solid foundation for his debut in the German championship.
The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland has long been regarded as one of the strongest one-make series in the world and serves as the ultimate benchmark within the Porsche one-make series for many drivers. In 2026, the series will also feature the latest generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, the Porsche 992.2, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the championship.
“After two great seasons in the Benelux, this felt like the right time to take the next step,” said Langeveld. “The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland is a championship I’ve always looked up to and one I’ve dreamed of being a part of as a driver. The fact that this is now becoming a reality makes it extra special. Being able to take this step with an experienced team like Laptime Performance and the support of my partners gives me a lot of confidence.”
Langeveld is looking forward to the new season with clear ambitions. “The field is incredibly strong, but my goal is to establish myself in the top half of the midfield as quickly as possible. If we can consistently finish in the top 10, that would be a fantastic result in this championship.”
In addition to the racing program, the season also offers plenty of opportunities for business partners and sponsors. At all circuits, there is the opportunity to host guests within the Porsche VIP Hospitality area, where high-end catering and an exclusive experience take center stage. During the home race at Circuit Zandvoort, Langeveld also has his own lounge to welcome his partners and business associates in a unique setting.
The 911 Business Club, which proved to be a great success in 2025, will be further expanded in 2026. For a fee of 911 euros (excl. VAT), entrepreneurs can join this exclusive network. Members not only gain access to unique networking opportunities and up-close views of the races, but also become a visible part of the program with branding on the helmet and car, including a VIP package during race weekends.
The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland calendar consists of eight events at some of Europe’s most beautiful circuits. With races at tracks including Imola, Spa-Francorchamps, Zandvoort, and the Nürburgring, a challenging and spectacular season lies ahead.
For Langeveld, competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland represents an important next step in his career and a new opportunity to compete at the international level against Europe’s best Porsche drivers.
