This year, Niels Langeveld embarks on his second season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux. In 2024, the Dutch driver fulfilled his racing dream by going all-in to compete behind the wheel of a 911. He managed to secure a team, but also remained critical of himself, acknowledging that he didn’t always reach his full potential during his debut season in this demanding racing class. The unique characteristics of the car, in particular, took some getting used to. In 2025, once again, everything is different—except for the Porsche technology. “The RedAnt Racing team gave me a fantastic opportunity to step in and turn last year’s experience into results. We share a clear mission, and I see a lot of potential within the team. On top of that, I’m introducing a new, unique sponsorship concept called ‘911 Friends’. I’m incredibly excited!”
Niels Langeveld knows better than anyone that racing in a premier series like the Porsche Carrera Cup is far from a given for any driver. He spent many years competing in top-tier touring car championships, winning multiple titles along the way. Even in one-make cup racing, Niels has repeatedly proven to be among the fastest. But driving a Porsche—that’s a different ball game. “Driving a 911 cannot be compared to any other racing series. The fact that I get to do it for the second year in a row is something I’m incredibly grateful for. I realize that this opportunity isn’t available to just anyone!”

Switching teams is seen by Niels as a new challenge, but also a chance for a fresh start. “My helmet design, the car’s livery—everything will be new. Both create space for a completely fresh and unique concept called ‘911 Friends’. It’s an exclusive community of friends and associates who can and want to contribute €911 to support our racing success. All members will be featured on my social media, on the newly designed helmet, and on the actual Porsche 911 Cup car throughout the entire season! How cool is that? It’s basically a premium business club of small-scale sponsors, who also get to choose a VIP Experience of their choice during a race weekend. Ideal for experiencing the action up close from the VIP Lounge at Zandvoort, for example.”

The Zandvoort race is the second of the season, and the season finale will also be held there. The 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux season opener takes place in Belgium from May 8–10, as part of the support program for the WEC 6 Hours of Spa. In total, the calendar features six races, with three of them taking place in the Netherlands. A perfect opportunity for sponsors and partners to see Niels shine in his new Porsche colors. One thing’s for sure: his drive is unwavering. “Last year I got my first taste of the unique 911 characteristics. Now it’s time to harvest the rewards with this great team.”
